This roundtable will be addressing common challenges faced when preparing or conducting a transition to scale project (TTS). TTS is defined as the cumulative research and parallel system requirements necessary to move from proof of concept to positioning an innovation to take it to scale, while maximizing potential impact. Essentially, it is about taking an innovation with proof of concept (a promise) and developing a framework that transitions it to go to scale (becoming a reality), in the context of resource constrained settings. Unfortunately, many, if not most, promising innovations never reach their potential primarily because key TTS issues have not been dealt with or resolved.

The panelists in this roundtable have extensive experience in TTS. The roundtable will begin with a series of questions addressed to each panelist, followed by an open Q&A session.

The event will be held virtually.
