Thelma completed her PhD in the Department of Geography and Environmental Management at the University of Waterloo. She is currently an Assistant Professor in the Department of Geography, Sustainability, Community, and Urban Studies at the University of Connecticut, where her research focuses on health, equity, sustainability, and community well-being.

George Atiim completed a Doctor of Philosophy in the Department of Geography and Environmental Management under the supervision of Professor Susan Elliott. George is now based in Ghana, where he works with the World Health Organization (WHO) as a Global Health Researcher.

Abraham Marshall Nunbogu completed his PhD in the Department of Geography and Environmental Management at the University of Waterloo. Today, he is a researcher at the UN University Institute for Water, Environment and Health, focusing on water, sanitation, and hygiene (WASH) and health.
