This event is part of the GRADventure Professional Skills Conference. Visit the conference web page for a full schedule of events.

As a grad student or postdoc, you already frequently attend or organize meetings. In your future career, you will most certainly continue to be responsible for participating in and running effective meetings. But what makes a meeting effective? In this workshop, you’ll learn how the meeting is a tool with great potential to help you get the resources you need and get projects completed. You’ll also learn why this tool is so often misused or misapplied, and how to avoid common mistakes in meeting planning, so your meetings can be well organized and meet deliverables.
