The University of Waterloo is pleased to receive applications from excellent students who will be applying for the SENACYT, Panama scholarship program. Applicants apply directly to SENACYT.
Waterloo is a member of the CALDO consortium, an association of Canada's leading research universities committed to international education. CALDO is currently working with these Latin American countries: Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Ecuador, Mexico, Panama, Paraguay, Peru, and Uruguay.
The objective of this agreement is to establish the basis for carrying out scholarship program calls, in which SENACYT and CALDO will provide support to Panamanian students interested in pursuing a Research (Thesis Based) Master's or PhD degree in CADLDO member universities in Canada.
The scholarship provides full funding (including but not limited to tuition and fees, health insurance (UHIP) and living allowance/stipend) for doctoral programs for 4 years or 12 academic terms.
Domestic tuition will be assessed.

2. Applicants contact universities and submit online applications and supporting documents.
3. Applicants apply to SENACYT for the IFARHU-SENACYT scholarship, including Waterloo's Offer of Admission in their application package.
