A workshop for the MPS Class of 2017 - Facilitated by former Ontario cabinet minister and member of provincial parliament, Dr. Milloy, this workshop focuses on how different actors react and respond to various crises and issues in Canada. Students will have the opportunity to review and learn about some recent issues, and develop leadership and problem-solving skills in the process. This is the second workshop of a two-part series.    

An MPS Multi-Year Celebration Event - We invite MPS alumni, students and faculty to mix and mingle with some old friends, and to even make some new ones. Come enjoy some hors d'oeuvres, drinks, and some pleasant conversation in a beautiful setting. Please R.S.V.P to Jessica or Sheila by Monday, Sept. 14.

A lecture for the MPS Class of 2017 - Organized by the Political Science department, this talk involves representatives of the Vote Together campaign, a major pan-Canadian grassroots mobilization to encourage citizens to vote strategically to unseat Conservative MPs in swing ridings. The talk conveys many of the themes explored in Prof. Carter's course and it provides lots of evidence on the types of resources and strategies used by civil society organizations that are discussed in "Government, Business, and Civil Society".
