2016 Orientation

We are pleased to announce this year's orientation schedule! The MPS 2016 Orientation will be an exciting 3 day event including the following activities:

  • lunch at the Grad House followed by a tour of the main campus
  • trip to Stratford to witness Shakespeare's Macbeth 
  • official introduction to the program and staff followed by ice-breaker activities and socializing with MPS senior students and alumni

Fall Diversity Day & Remembrance Day Commemoration

We invite all current students, senior students, and alumni to join us in an event organized by this year's MPSA.  The event will begin by commemorating those who fought to make Canada the diverse and rich country it is today.  Afterwards, enjoy an array of ethnic dishes followed by a narration of the origins of Diwali and special activities and musical performances prepared by current students and alumni!

MPS Talks

Talks for current students by senior students - This afternoon will feature presentations from senior students about their co-op experiences as well as advice for junior students on how to be successful in the public service. There's a lunch mix and mingle at 12:00 p.m. and the talks will begin at 1:00 p.m. The festivities will continue in the afternoon as junior students and senior students meet at the Duke of Wellington for dinner and networking.

WaterlooWorks and Co-op Information Session

Information session on the new WaterlooWorks database - By popular request, the awesome Alicia Flatt will be returning to the program space to hold a mandatory information session explaining important details pertaining to navigation of the new WaterlooWorks co-op database.  We encourage all students, faculty, and staff to attend as this session will be tremendously beneficial!
