Fair for Laurier students - Located in the the Research and Academic Centre and Wilkes Gym of the Brantford campus, Laurier's Graduate and Professional School Education Fair gives you a chance to meet one-on-one with Sheila, the MPS Program Officer. She will gladly answer any questions you may have about joining the MPS network and the MPS experience. 

Workshop for new MPS students -  Facilitated by Lauren Broderick, Career Advisor in Waterloo's Centre for Career Action, this workshop teaches you how to successfully prepare yourself for your upcoming co-op interviews. This workshop will be followed by a complimentary lunch in the Project Room. 

A MPS Multi-Year Celebration Event -We invite all MPS alumni, students and faculty to mix and mingle with some old friends and meet some new ones. All while enjoying some hors d'oeuvres and some pleasant conversations in a beautiful setting. Please R.S.V.P. to Sheila by Friday, October 17th. 

Information Session for Class of 2016 students - Scott Davis, Co-operative Education's Faculty Relations Manager for Arts, will speak to us about all the steps in the co-op process including your professional obligations. A question and answer period will follow the presentation. 

Meeting for MPS Class of 2015 students - This mandatory meeting for students completing the MTP project in the Winter term will focus on discussing the MTP and sharing co-op experiences. A lunch mix and mingle with new students is planned for noon. A social event will also be planned for the day. More details to come.  

Talks for new students by senior students and alumni - This afternoon will feature life/work lessons from senior students about how to be a success in the public service before new students embark on their co-op interviews and subsequent government careers. There's a lunch mix and mingle during the lunch hour (12 -1). The talks will begin at 1:00 p.m.

Workshop for MPS Class of 2016 - As part of your preparation for co-op interviews, we have engaged a professional communications consultant and coach, Elissa Lansdell, who will speak with you about effective techniques for voice projection, tone and delivery.
