MPACS graduate students are invited to a "falafel and film" student social on Thursday, February 14. The PACS department will be providing falafel and Valentine's day treats, as well as a screening of 5 Broken Cameras.

This Palestinian-Israeli-French co-production depicts a first-hand account of life and non-violent resistance in Bil’in, a West Bank village surrounded by Israeli settlements. Shot by Palestinian farmer Emad Burnat, 5 Broken Cameras follows one family’s evolution over five years of village upheaval.

A facilitated discussion will take place following the film.
