After twenty years in the psychology/counselling sector and seven years of specialization in war trauma recovery, Dawn Penner now offers consultant services for INGOs. She will be speaking about her experiences from this past fall when she spent three months as a consultant for Mennonite Central Committee (MCC) conducting research for war trauma needs assessment and took part in curriculum development and training for MCC's partners in Lebanon and Syria.
Penner has also done doctoral research on war trauma recovery and her specialities include counsellor training in multi-cultural settings, sexual exploitation, holistic intervention, the intersection of mental health and spirituality, training, and program evaluation.
