The UWaterloo/FEDS Science Society voted last night to increase transparency and fix constitutional concerns as well as enfranchise Coop students by allowing them to run for president of the society. The Science Society is the science student representation to the Faculty, Departments, and Federation of Students. These changes make a more open and accessible Science Society and allow a more transparent future.

The MNS Society, after meeting with Director Holger Kleinke of the Waterloo Institute of Nanotechnology (WIN), has secured Materials & Nanosciences Program affiliation with WIN.

Waterloo Nanotechnology Conference

The Waterloo Nanotechnology Conference, or WNC (formerly WUNC - Waterloo Undergraduate Nanotechnology Conference) is a student-organized conference that connects students and academia, industry, and entrepreneurs in various fields enabled by nanotechnology. It will educate and inspire participants with exciting speakers, an informative industry panel discussion, and other interactive activities.

MNS10 Seminar - Physics and Chemistry Graduate School - Wed, 15th March, PHY145, 4-5pm

MNS 10 Seminar is hosting the Department of Physics & Department of Chemistry graduate school information session this Wednesday March 15th from 4-5pm.

Representative admissions officers, Melanie Campbell and Thorsten Dieckmann, from Physics and Chemistry respectively, have kindly agreed to come and talk to students about Graduate School at the University of Waterloo.
