Waterloo Nanotechnology Conference

The Waterloo Nanotechnology Conference (WNC) is a student-organized conference that connects students, faculty, government and industries who have an interest and passion for nanotechnology and emerging applications in the materials science, engineering, and applied physics disciplines. In 2017, the event attracted 200 eager youth, academics, industry and government researchers, and entrepreneurs to showcase the prospects of nanotechnology innovation in the field of science & engineering.

The CECA has implemented some of the most staunch Science Society's requested measures to lift the conditional censure revised at the beginning of Spring term 2017.

Superconductor Synthesis: a two part lab event with MNS Society

Come out and synthesize your very own superconductors!! We will be synthesizing YBa2Cu3O7 supercondutors and testing them out the following day. Sign up now before spots run out! You'll even get to take it home. Sign up here: https://goo.gl/forms/K67Ezch2RMZnlKRi1

MNS Society encourages you to share and participate in the joint SciSoc-EngSoc-MathSoc-ESS-ASU and FEDS Co-op Student Council survey on WaterlooWorks. Help us get feedback from every corner of campus! Good criticism and feedback will improve the student experience. CECA and WaterlooWorks team have agreed to address this feedback and make changes based on the information.
