The Math Endowment Fund (MEF) is excited to kick off the Winter 2025 term with a renewed focus on empowering undergraduate math students at the University of Waterloo. MEF is your fund, run by students for students, and we’re here to support your ideas, ambitions, and success. 

Why MEF Matters

The Role of the Funding Council

MEF is governed by a student-led Funding Council, which ensures that every decision is made with the best interests of undergraduate math students in mind. The Council evaluates funding applications and allocates resources to projects and opportunities that align with MEF’s mission of enabling student success.
