The JIRA system is used to report problems to, or request services from, various groups within Information Systems & Technology (IST), and some other departments/faculties.
Each request that is submitted results in the creation of a request ticket. This ticket contains a number of attributes including a unique request/ticket number that is used to track the progress of the request.
To submit a ticket to MME IT email: MME Helpdesk or by going to the MME Jira portal
To submit a ticket to IST go to the following page: Submit a support request through the Jira Help Portal (requires authentication) or by sending an email to helpdesk@uwaterloo.ca
To submit a ticket to MME Studio portal please email mmestudio@uwaterloo.ca or going to MME Jira portal
Here are some reasons why to send a ticket directly to IST:
- Phone Services: Problems with your phone, voice mail, VoIP, Skype phone
- Network Services in East Campus 4 (EC4), Engineering 7 (E7), Engineering 5 (E5)group. The address is the following: Submit a support request through the Jira Help Portal (requires authentication)
- If you have problems with eduroam such as poor signal or no signal at all.
- If you have an event and need wireless access for your guests.
- if you need your name change in your email.
