Jira service desk

The JIRA system is used to report problems to, or request services from, various groups within Information Systems & Technology (IST), and some other departments/faculties.

Each request that is submitted results in the creation of a request ticket. This ticket contains a number of attributes including a unique request/ticket number that is used to track the progress of the request.

To submit a ticket to MME IT email: MME Helpdesk or by going to the MME Jira portal

To submit a ticket to IST go to the following page: Submit a support request through the Jira Help Portal (requires authentication) or by sending an email to helpdesk@uwaterloo.ca

To submit a ticket to MME Studio portal please email mmestudio@uwaterloo.ca or going to MME Jira portal 

Here are some reasons why to send a ticket directly to IST:

  1. Phone Services: Problems with your phone, voice mail, VoIP, Skype phone
  2. Network Services in East Campus 4 (EC4), Engineering 7 (E7), Engineering 5 (E5)group. The address is the following: Submit a support request through the Jira Help Portal (requires authentication)
  3. If you have problems with eduroam such as poor signal or no signal at all.
  4. If you have an event and need wireless access for your guests.
  5. if you need your name change in your email.
