Jira service desk

The JIRA system is used to report problems to, or request services from, various groups within Information Systems & Technology (IST), and some other departments/faculties.

Each request that is submitted results in the creation of a request ticket. This ticket contains a number of attributes, including a unique request/ticket number that is used to track the progress of the request.

To submit a ticket to MME IT email: MME Helpdesk or by going to the MME Jira portal

To submit a ticket to IST, go to the following page: Submit a support request through the Jira Help Portal (requires authentication) or by sending an email to helpdesk@uwaterloo.ca

To submit a ticket to the MME Studio portal, please email mmestudio@uwaterloo.ca or go to MME Jira portal 

Here are some reasons why you should send a ticket directly to IST:

  1. Network Services in East Campus 4 (EC4), Engineering 7 (E7), Engineering 5 (E5) groups. The address is the following: Submit a support request through the Jira Help Portal (requires authentication)
  2. If you have problems with Eduroam, such as poor signal or no signal at all.
  3. If you need your name changed in your email.
