Karen Beck discusses the Harvard Law School Library’s robust digitization program, focusing on the early manuscript collection. She presents highlights from the collection and explains why the Library has made digitization a priority. Her lecture describes the steps and people involved, as well as the challenges, successes, and lessons learned through the process.

This is the first event in the 2017 – 2018 Medieval Lecture Series. The lecture series highlights the forty-five‐year history of Medieval Studies on our campus. It promotes communication, encourages collaboration, and enhances the interdisciplinary heart of Medieval Studies.
