Congratulations to Nanotechnology Engineering students Ciara Azam, Manasa Kaniselvan, Natalie Pinchin and Software Engineering student Tammy Liu for their achievements at the annual International Conference for Robotics and Automation (ICRA), hosted by the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE) in Sweden.

Representing Waterloo’s NanoRobotics Group, the women competed in the conference’s Mobile Microrobotics Challenge, which challenged teams to use microrobots to complete tests of autonomy, accuracy, and assembly. They won first place in the Microassembly Challenge and second place in the Autonomous Mobility & Accuracy Challenge.
