Broadcast facilities

Waterloo has facilities to provide broadcast-quality audio and video feeds with a double-ender studio. Please contact us for details on how to book.

Parking (for media)

Parking passes are available for members of the media who come to the Waterloo campus for events or to interview faculty or staff. While we cannot reserve spaces, the passes allow members of the media to park a vehicle for free in several designated spots across campus.

    As part of the Government of Canada’s $950 million Innovation Supercluster Initiative, Waterloo will take a leading research role in two of the five winning bids announced today.

    Elementary school children who read below grade level may have challenges with their eyesight even if standard tests show they see 20/20, according to a new study from the University of Waterloo.

    The study showed that children with reading challenges may have lower than expected binocular vision test results, something a standard eye exam may overlook.
