"The pandemic has laid bare the significant challenges our country has with the collection, aggregation and analysis of health data. These are not new challenges. The Expert Advisory Group on the Pan-Canadian Data Strategy has a mandate to advise on practical approaches to address systemic barriers to better data for better health. Last week, we released our first report which summarizes the root causes that have hindered progress."
