GreenHouse is hosting a hackathon in partnership with GO Open Data and the City of Kitchener Innovation Lab where students will transform municipal-level open data into sustainable, equitable impact projects.
What: Be a part of GOODHack24, a data science hackathon using tech to address climate inequities and promote sustainability locally. Build tech solutions with compelling use cases for municipal clients - and broaden your professional network! Tools and training will be provided and there is a cash prize for the winning team.
When:
- Thursday, May 9, 5 p.m to 7 p.m. (prep session)
- Saturday, May 11, 9 a.m to 4 p.m. (hackathon)
Where: Victoria Park Pavilion (prep) and Communitech (hack)
Who: Open to grade 11 & 12 and university students (with priority given to undergrad students). Students with backend, frontend, and/or communication skills and experience are encouraged to apply!
