GreenHouse

Turn your idea into social change—become a changemaker!

We know that gap between having an idea and making it happen can feel impossible to bridge. We believe real change happens when we work together. At GreenHouse you are part of a community of changemakers who help you when you are stuck, overcome challenges you didn’t expect, and link you to the right people and resources. So, bring your ideas, questions or passion project that you can’t stop thinking or talking about. Your concerns and ideas matter, so let's work together to make them happen!

Explore how our Social Innovators in Training program, Changemaker Labs, and Minor in Social Innovation and Impact can provide the community, resources, and structured support you need to turn your vision for change into meaningful action.

Darren Baine

Darren transformed his passion into the Young Eye Initiative, a global platform amplifying youth voices in climate leadership.  With GreenHouse's support, he felt that spark of accomplishment most when producing podcast episodes, hosting climate-focused youth hackathons, and co-leading a United Nations workshop that brought youth voices directly into climate policy conversations. Today, Darren measures success by how many young people his programs mentor and how they influence local climate strategies around the world.

Asiya Ali

Asiya bridged her interests in food systems and urban planning by building Harvest to Garnish, a thriving community initiative creating interactive public spaces where youth and neighbours learn together. With GreenHouse's support, she gained practical skills that shaped her freelance urban planning career. That journey gave her the belief to pursue social entrepreneurship as a legitimate career path, proof that you can build purpose into your profession.
