United College plays an important part of the University of Waterloo's innovation ecosystem. Through our incubators, we provide the resources and community to allow students to thrive while developing exciting ventures and projects that have impact both locally and nationally.
University of Waterloo students interested in making an impact have access to GreenHouse, United College's social impact incubator. Students enrolled in GreenHouse are motivated to make social or environmental change and work on initiatives that make progress towards the United Nation's Sustainable Development Goals.
United College's new Indigenous entrepreneurship incubator is launch September 2023. This online incubator supports Indigenous entrepreneurs across Turtle Island with a learning community to launch projects and ventures; apply their entrepreneurial knowledge; and gain valuable leadership and problem-solving skills and experiences while contributing to the needs of their communities.
