Individual Sarcotragus foetidus during in situ extraction with membrane, blade, and fiber SPME devices.

In the present study, we test three different SPME devices for their ability to perform in situ analyte extraction on S. foetidus specimens. The sample analysis revealed the presence of a wide range of metabolites related to quorum sensing, mono- and polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbon degradation, and photosynthetic organisms, as well as a number of marine pollutants. https://www.frontiersin.org/articles/10.3389/fmars.2019.00632/full
