First, PhD Candidate German Augusto Gomez-Rios received the Bruker BioSpin Graduate Scholarship at the GWC2 award ceremony for his research contributions regarding Coated Blade Spray and direct coupling of SPME to mass spectrometry.
PhD candidate Jonathan James Grandy was awarded with the Graduated PhD Seminar Prize. This event was also held at the GWC2 ceremony. The prize was given for his seminars entitled: "Coupling of Solid Phase Microextraction (SPME) Technologies to Portable Gas Chromatography Mass Spectrometry (GC-MS) Instrumentation for On-site Environmental Analysis"
