Widespread community feedback collected between August and October have led to the finalization of several thematic areas for action. These areas have become the foundation of The President’s Anti-Racism Taskforce (PART), and the establishment of five PART working groups, that will make recommendations to address systemic racism on campus.
Engagement with community members have also highlighted areas where immediate action can begin and led to the establishment of four PART implementation teams to take immediate steps in the areas of BIPOC Related Programming; Campus Representation; Race, Culture & Ethnicity Awareness; and Race-Based Data Strategies.
