As a part of our One Sky Festival celebrations and in support of International Education Week (IEW), Renison will be hosting events on November 18 and then daily from November 20 to 24 celebrating cultures from around the world – including those of the languages we teach at Renison and the home countries of many of our English Language students.

The weekend celebration will include a variety of activities and performances such as music, dance, and face painting. Each weekday event will be led by groups of students from the English Language Institute Student Leadership team and will celebrate an international culture including China, Japan, Korea, Panama, and more. The final weekday will culminate in a Living Library event that seeks to promote intercultural dialogue and awareness amongst a diversity of cultures.

Additionally, each day we will have booths highlighting Renison’s international experiences, Culture and Language Studies program, and Continuing Education courses to promote educational opportunities available to students beyond IEW. Come by Renison (Nov 18: 11am-2pm; Nov 20 – 24: 11am-1pm) to celebrate – snacks will be available!
