What is Renisix?
Renisix Residence Student Committee is a dynamic group of student leaders who help to plan fun social events for students living in Renison Residence. In the Fall and Winter terms, Renisix organizes events including Coffee Houses, Sock Dodgeball, Craft Nights, and much more. Renisix is an awesome way to make friends in Residence!
One of the main events hosted by Renisix is Renison's annual Wind-Out celebration (which is like Prom, but better)! Wind-Out is a semi-formal event to celebrate the end of the year and is open to all Renison Residence students which includes awards, dinner, and dancing!
The Student Experience Peer Leaders oversee the budget, team meetings, and planning of Renisix events.
Our Goals
The goals of Renisix include:
- Provide an opportunity for students living in Renison Residence to gain Canadian volunteer experience.
- Contribute to the student experience by hosting fun and education events developed and facilitated by students.
- Foster an environment of growth for students to improve on their leadership, collaboration, teamwork, and communication skills.
- Build a strong, inclusive community of student leadership within residence.
