PSYCpool - Researcher Information

PSYCpool Information for Researchers

PSYCpool is a database of participants from across campus that register to be contacted by Researchers in the Psychology department to participate in studies for pay. These studies typically involve computer tasks (in the lab) or online surveys (on the web) that take anywhere from 30 minutes to 2 hours.

Participants are to receive $5 per 30 minutes of participation or other remuneration of equal value such as movie tickets or entry into a draw for cash or gift certificates. For online studies please provide information to the participant on how they can obtain their remuneration (ie - in the email correspondence and Information Letter).

The PSYCpool database will open for the Spring 2021 in May 2021. The PSYCpool submission form will be available the week of April 19th, 2021 or you can email your requests to regadmin@uwaterloo.ca .
