In November 1970, Dean William B. Pearson appointed me the assistant professor in Chemistry. I started teaching physical chemistry to the class of 2nd year biology-Chemistry students,with whom I was so glad that I got along well. However, I felt the need to learn padogogy and learning theory that I have little or no concept of. Furthermore, my own experience in learning and teaching was so different from the students sitting in front of me. I went to a 5-day workshop, in which we learned lecture-notes writing, methods of learning and communication skills. For the first time, I heard the concept of mindscape. Everyone has a mindscape of his or her own and everyone learns a unique way.
