Rashmi Chandra’s work is focused on strategic regulation of photosynthetic machinery towards diverse bioenergy generation routes and extensively studied the process of Photofermentative-Hydrogenesis, Biophotovoltaics, Algal photochemical synthesis (Photo-Lipogensis) and covered the role of photosynthetic microorganisms in renewable bioenergy generation and wastewater treatment. Recent research includes the development of algal biorefinery, electro-fermentation and use of food waste for biohydrogen and value-added product recovery.
