GoHere
  • Worked in a team of four to start building an application that allows users to add events official and casual events near the area. The targetted audience are university/college students or any individual interested in attending various casual gatherings and/or expanding their social circles. Please, read more about it here.
  • Being the first hackathon to have attended, I was able to gain experience in a variety of different aspects.
  • It, most importantly, allowed me to brainstorm, implement and present a project with a team in the span of 36 hours.
  • It also allowed me to exercise learning and problem solving at a rapid pace.

Major League Hacking, Online

  • Practical AI Ethics: Learned about the ethical issues/limitations that can come up from using AI/ML. For instance, approving a loan.
  • Intro to AI/ML with IOS: Created an app SleepyTime that trains provided dataset to determine bedtime based on desired hours of sleep, wake up time, and predicted stress levels.
  • Build own Teachable Machine: Using the Teachable Machine tool, created  User and/or Book Model and User's Posture Model.
  • Read Twitch Comments Aloud: Create a text to speech app that reads the comments on a twitch stream
  • Build you own API using Java: Built own API using Java and Postman.
  • Chatbot: Create a chatbot to answer FAQs and other questions
  • TensorFlowJS: Learn about this tool and use it to create a game that allows Pikachu to more forward or backwards based on left or right hand appearing in the video, respectively.

Computer Literacy Tutor, Frontier College

  • Provided technical assistance to individuals with low computer literacy
  • Helped familiarize with basic computer skills such as learning to use a mouse and keyboard. In addition, some advanced softwares such as MS Word, Excel, Google Chrome.
  • Work with a varierty of different learners with respect to age and learning speed.
