 | Marcel O’Gorman is University Research Chair and Professor of English Language and Literature at the University of Waterloo. He is also Director of Critical Media Lab (CML), located in Downtown Kitchener, Ontario, amidst a burgeoning tech hub. The CML researchers, students and artistic collaborators create objects-to-think-with that reflect the impacts of technology on society and the human condition. O’Gorman is also a practicing artist with an international portfolio of performances and exhibitions. His latest book, Necromedia (U of Minnesota Press Posthumanities Series), explores the relationship between death and technology through philosophical writing, artistic projects, and activist interventions. |
