I have a long standing interest in the way phenomena from fluid mechanics theory occur in the natural world.  Over the years this has had me wander beaches photographing breaking waves, float over sand dunes looking for resuspension events, or stare up at internal wave manifestations in clouds trying to get the perfect shot.
