I am a Postdoctoral Fellow at the University of Waterloo, Department of Applied Mathematics. Before that I was a Postdoctoral Fellow at Memorial University (2018-2019). I received my Ph.D. in the Department of Mathematics and Statistics from Memorial University (2018). I received my M.S. at Institute of Computational Mathematics and Scientific/Engineering Computing at Chinese Academy of Sciences (2015).
My research interests lie primarily in the field of numerical analysis, domain decomposition and multigrid methods, focusing on the development and analysis of fast solvers for problems arising from partial differential equations (PDEs), especially saddle-point problems. Problems with saddle point structure generically describe physical systems with constraints, such as the Navier-Stokes equations, incompressible hyperelasticity, magnetohydrodynamics, and PDE-constrained optimisation problems.
