This paper proposes a scenario for using CBIR (Content-Based Image Retrieval) in tourism application. Several CBIR algorithms are studied and applied for the proposed application. An image database specialized for this application is made to be used for the study purpose. The performance of applied methods were evaluated and compared based on known measures. Among the studied method two CBIR algorithms performs better than others for this application.
