Social Work Field Instructors' ONLINE Community Group
The School of Social Work is pleased to provide you with access to our online Social Work Field Instructors' Community Group as part of our commitment to supporting our community of field instructors.
This site is set up through 'Learn', the University of Waterloo's secure online environment for knowledge development and sharing and is available exclusively to Renison School of Social Work field instructors. 'Learn' is password protected.
You will have immediate and ongoing access to:
- articles
- teaching tools
- presentations
- and electronic links to the latest information in field education and student supervision
An integral component of this site is a discussion board which will allow you to ask questions and share ideas with your fellow field instructors.
In order to access 'Learn', we have to set up accounts through the University of Waterloo for all who wish to be part of this online community. Access to the site does require a few steps but these will open up a wonderful resource to you.
Please email Shella Zagada if you wish to gain access to the Community Group. Shella will need your name, birthdate and “official” email address (ie: addresses via hotmail and yahoo are not deemed official).
You will receive 'next steps' once your username and password have been established.
