Distinguished Teacher Award

Katie Plaisance (Assistant Professor, Knowledge Integration) received the University of Waterloo Distinguished Teacher Award at the June 2016 convocation. The commendation recognized not only Katie’s excellence in the classroom but also her work on the curriculum design of the innovative Knowledge Integration program and her work helping her colleagues develop new pedagogical strategies. Katie will also be officially promoted to Associate Professor on July 1, 2016.
