Mark Lampi

Mark Lampi was an early postdoctoral researcher with the Servos Group, contributing during the formative years of the lab. His work focused on the phytoremediation of organic contaminants and the application of in vitro approaches in environmental toxicology.

He used fish cell line models to investigate the effects of contaminants, helping to advance alternative, lab-based methods for assessing toxicity and understanding contaminant behaviour in aquatic systems. His research contributed to early efforts to link contaminant exposure with biological responses using controlled experimental approaches.
