MSc (Graduated Sep 2012)
Research Interests
Neha Sethi completed her undergraduate degree at the University of Waterloo before beginning her MSc. Her research examined how chemicals from municipal wastewater effluent (MWWE) interact with thyroid hormone receptors in rainbow trout (Oncorhynchus mykiss). She developed a competitive binding assay and applied an Effects Directed Assessment (EDA) approach to identify contaminants capable of disrupting thyroid hormone function.
She went on to study naturopathic medicine and now practices as Dr. Neha Sethi-Singh, ND, RP(Q), providing patient-centred, holistic care.
