Sean McLay

MSc Candidate (Graduated Fall 2022)

Co-supervisor: Adam Yates (Biology)

Research Interests

Sean is an MSc candidate investigating the effects of upgrades made to the Kitchener and Waterloo wastewater treatments plants on their receiving waters (Grand River) using benthic macroinvertebrates as a bioindicator. By exploring benthic macroinvertebrate assemblages as upgrades were integrated at the treatment plants, associations can be made between the onset of the upgrades and changes in the assemblage.
