Lead Covid Technician
Zach joined the Servos Lab in January 2022 as a co-op student. He has returned to work full time after graduating with his BSc in Biochemistry. As Lead Covid Technician Zach is responsible ensuring everything in the lab runs as smooth as possible and helps direct the other technicians. Other tasks include analysis of collected data, interpreting qPCR results, reporting results to public health units and meeting with municipalities, training new co-ops and staff and routine maintenance of lab equipment.
Zach is interested in human genetics and Alzheimer's disease and other neurodegenerative diseases. He will be pursuing a Masters of Science in September 2024.
