SWIGS Joins Fridays for Future Climate Strike

We encourage SWIGS members to join us and attend the Global Climate Strike in Waterloo, supporting youth efforts for Climate Action. Be creative and make your own sign! We will meet in front of the Davis Centre Library at 11:30 and take the ION to Waterloo Town Square to join the strike. The strike is officially from 12-2:30 so even if you can only make it for part of the time, we would love to have you join. Looking forward to seeing everyone there!

The R Basics workshop will be a guided introduction to coding using R, which has many applications for water researchers in science and math. Join us for a morning introductory session covering R basics, followed by some intermediate level problem solving in the afternoon. Please bring your own laptop for this workshop.
