Patty Mah

As the Director of Strategic Research, Patty leads a talented team of professionals to engage researchers and industries to strategically grow WISA’s research portfolio to bring new sustainable initiatives to commercialization. Responsible for managing WISA’s industry and government funded collaborative research portfolio, Patty is accountable to identify, develop, implement and sustain WISA’s research mission.

A proud UWaterloo alumnus, Patty has worked for various faculties across campus. As a Senior Facilitator with UWaterloo, Patty provides professional development in the areas of communications, networking, and leadership to secondary and post-secondary students. Patty’s 20+ years of leadership has been focused on mentoring and leveraging the strengths of her teams to create an environment that fosters forward thinking ideas and innovative marketing, recruitment, and brand solutions.
