Policy 29: Smoke-free campus
Please note that as of July 1st 2024, the University of Waterloo has adopted a smoke-free policy.
All forms of smoking, holding lighted tobacco or cannabis, and using e-cigarettes or other vaping devices is prohibited on University of Waterloo properties.
This policy does not apply to Indigenous ceremonies or traditions, or to individuals with documented medical accommodations.
