Gaya Bin Noon

Gaya is an MSc of Public Health and Health Systems candidate at the University of Waterloo. She also completed her undergraduate degree at the University of Waterloo, during which she was enrolled in the co-op program and worked in both the public and private sector. Her research interests focus on digital health policy, particularly as it pertains to the care of older adults. Currently, she is working on a project to develop standards for smart homes and communities interested in implementing active assisted living (AAL) technologies, allowing seniors to remain in their homes and maintain their independence for as long as possible.
