Tim (Hamin) Jo

Tim (Hamin) Jo is an MSc student at the University of Waterloo. His research focuses on how smart home and Ambient Assisted Living (AAL) technologies can better support older adults by integrating unobtrusive sensors with privacy-conscious, user-centered dashboard design. He is particularly interested in understanding how older adults prefer their health and activity information to be shared across different audiences and contexts, and how thoughtful interface design can improve trust, usability, and adoption of these technologies to improve aging in place.
