Tim (Hamin) Jo

Tim (Hamin) Jo is an MSc student at the University of Waterloo. His research focuses on user-centered dashboard design for smart home technologies that support aging in place.

He is particularly interested in understanding how older adults prefer their health and activity information to be shared across different audiences and contexts, and how thoughtful interface design can improve trust, usability, and adoption of these technologies.
