David Johnston International Student Scholarships

Award description: 

Several scholarships, valued at $5,000 each, are awarded annually to outstanding international students admitted to Year One of an undergraduate-degree program. International students admitted with an admission average of 80% or above will be considered. Selection will be based on academic achievement combined with any other faculty-specific scholarship criteria. These scholarships were established through the generous support of donors in honour of former Waterloo president David Johnston as a lasting tribute to his 11-year service to this University and in recognition of his passion for international opportunities for students.
