Award description: 

One scholarship, valued at $1,200, is awarded annually to an outstanding Indigenous student entering first-year studies at the University of Waterloo. Preference will be given to students entering a program in the Faculty of Mathematics. This fund is made possible by a donation from the Shah family in honour of Devindra Shah, spouse of retired Waterloo professor Kirtikumar Shah.
