Award description: 

An award, valued at a minimum of $2,500, is available annually to a full-time undergraduate student enrolled in any program at the University of Waterloo. Eligible candidates must demonstrate financial need and have a minimum average of 75%. Candidates must be a current Crown (permanent) Ward, or have been a Crown (permanent) Ward for at least one year after turning 13 years old. To be considered, students must apply for a Children's Aid Foundation (CAF) Scholarship through the CAF https://www.cafdn.org/for-youth/educational-support. This fund is made possible by a donation from Andrew and Edith Dunn in memory of their brother and son, Dr. Stephen Charles Maitland Dunn.

Interested students must apply for a Children's Aid Foundation (CAF) Scholarship through the CAF https://www.cafdn.org/for-youth/educational-support. Applications open in late December for the following fall semester, and close in mid-February. Decisions are made by the Children’s Aid Foundation of Canada’s Scholarship Award Committee and are announced in July.
