Award description:
An award valued at $1,200 will be provided annually to a full-time undergraduate student enrolling in Year One of any Faculty or program at the University of Waterloo on the basis of academic achievement. Preference will be given to students from Orillia (preferred) or Parry Sound, followed by anywhere within Ontario. This fund is made possible by a donation from alumnus Kenneth Shunk who experienced first-hand that a fundamental education can open doors to a bright future.
