One scholarship, valued at up to $1,000, is awarded annually to an outstanding student entering first year in the Faculty of Engineering, with preference to a student who identifies as a woman. This fund is made possible by a donation from Waterloo graduates Paul Koenderman, BASc, Mechanical Engineering and Suzanne Koenderman, BA, English.
