One scholarship, valued at up to $2,000, is awarded annually to an outstanding international student from Asia entering first year of Mathematics with a declared interest in Actuarial Science or a Mathematics/Business program. This scholarship is made possible through an endowment established by Sammy Y. Chan who graduated from the University of Waterloo with a BMath ’81 (Actuarial Science).
